Returns & Refunds

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

10× optical zoom on your home Wi-Fi — read a plate at the end of the drive.

The same 10× optical zoom as our flagship, without the 4G SIM or the running costs. If your mounting spot already has Wi-Fi, this is the cheaper way to get real magnification — the kind that resolves a face or a number plate instead of turning it into pixels.

Three reasons people choose this one

  • 10× optical, not digital. A 5–50mm zoom lens physically moves to magnify. Digital zoom just enlarges the pixels you already have; optical zoom collects new detail.
  • Two lenses working together. A 2.8mm wide lens holds the whole scene while the zoom lens picks out the detail.
  • 15,600mAh and an 8W panel. The largest battery we fit, shared with our Pro model — a zoom motor draws more power than a fixed camera, so it needs the headroom.

Alerts, sharing and storage

How alerts reach you. The UBox app sends a push notification the moment the camera triggers, and the camera can sound its own siren and flash if you want it to. It does not place a phone call, and we'd rather say so than have you find out later. One thing worth doing at setup: a phone on Do Not Disturb silences push notifications by default. On iPhone, allow UBox through Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb → Allowed Apps. On Android, set the UBox notification channel to Priority. Two minutes, and it's the difference between hearing about something at the time and finding out in the morning.

Share it with the family. You can share the camera to other people's UBox accounts, and you decide what each person is allowed to do — live view, playback, microphone. There's no limit on how many people you share with; three can watch the live feed at once, and one person can use the mic at a time.

Cloud storage is optional. Around $4 a month for a single camera with a 7-day free trial, and less if you pay six-monthly or yearly. The platform sets that price rather than us, so check the current rate in the app. A memory card covers you without it, and most owners never subscribe.

Is this the right camera for you?

Good for — long driveways, large gardens, yards and forecourts where the thing you need to see is 20–40m away and Wi-Fi still reaches.

You'll need — a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal at the mounting spot, and a microSD card up to 128GB (not included) for local recording.

Not for you if — there's no Wi-Fi where it's going; the 4G version of this camera is the answer.
