SoundPEATS C30 — 52dB ANC Earbuds, LDAC Hi-Res, Bluetooth 6.0, 52-Hour Battery

Deep noise cancelling, high-resolution audio and 52 hours of battery, at a price where you'd normally get one of the three.

A 12mm titanium-plated driver, 52dB hybrid ANC with four app modes, LDAC Hi-Res streaming and Bluetooth 6.0.

Three reasons people choose this one

• 52dB hybrid ANC. Feedforward and feedback microphones work together to cut external noise by up to 52dB, driven by a dedicated ANC chip. Four modes in the app — Commuting, Cycling, Office and Library — so you get the right kind of quiet for where you actually are. The tuning is designed to minimise the ear-pressure sensation that strong ANC often causes.
• LDAC Hi-Res audio. Certified Hi-Res Audio Wireless with LDAC support, transmitting roughly three times the data of standard Bluetooth codecs. Paired with a 12mm titanium-plated PU composite diaphragm driver and CCAW voice coil.
• 52 hours of total battery. 10 hours from the earbuds plus 42 hours held in the charging case. A 10-minute charge over USB-C gives you 3 hours of playback.

Two things to know before you buy

1. LDAC is an Android codec. On an iPhone the C30 falls back to AAC and still sounds very good, but you won't get the high-resolution stream. If LDAC is the reason you're buying these, check your phone supports it first.

2. LDAC roughly halves your battery. 10 hours on AAC becomes about 5 on LDAC. That's not a fault, it's the cost of the extra data — but most listings don't mention it, and you should know before you choose.

Battery — the honest breakdown

From SoundPEATS' own test data. Most listings quote only the best number in this table.

The trade-off worth knowing: if you're on a long flight, turn LDAC off. If you're sitting still with good recordings on, turn it on. That choice is yours to make, and now you can make it knowingly.

Is this the right pair for you?

Good for — commuters and open-plan offices where you want real quiet · Android users who want Hi-Res without flagship money · outdoor calls, thanks to the wind-resistant mic design · anyone who wants ANC that doesn't produce the pressure feeling.

Not for you if — you listen mainly on an iPhone and are buying these specifically for LDAC, or you dislike the sealed-in feeling of in-ear tips. Our Air6 HS is semi-in-ear and stays open to the room, though it has no ANC.

What it does

Sounds like this — 12mm titanium-plated PU composite diaphragm, CCAW voice coil. LDAC, AAC and SBC. Hi-Res Audio Wireless certified.

Cancels noise with — 52dB hybrid ANC, feedforward and feedback mics, four modes selectable in the app.

Handles calls with — 6 microphones in total, three per earbud: feedforward, feedback and a dedicated talk mic. A wind-resistant structural design suppresses interference up to 45 km/h, so calls stay clear outdoors.

Connects like this — Bluetooth 6.0: faster pairing, stronger signal, lower latency for video and gaming, and better power efficiency than 5.x chipsets.

Survives — IP54 against sweat and rain.

Tunes through — the free PeatsAudio app on iPhone and Android: customise touch controls, switch ANC modes, adjust EQ and install firmware updates.

What's in the box

• SoundPEATS C30 earbuds
• Charging case
• USB-C charging cable
• Ear tips, 3 sizes (S / M / L)
• User manual

Three tip sizes matter more here than on most earbuds — a poor seal ruins both the bass and the noise cancelling, so take a minute to find the right one.
