SoundPEATS Clip 1 — Open-Ear Clip-On Earbuds, Dolby Audio & LDAC, 40-Hour Battery

Clip them on and forget them. Around 5g each, sitting outside your ear canal instead of plugging it.

You hear your music and the world at the same time. No pressure, no fatigue, no sweaty silicone tip after an hour.

Two things to know before you buy

1. Open-ear means no noise cancelling. These don't seal the ear canal, so they provide no noise isolation and no ANC. That's the trade for staying aware of traffic, colleagues and your surroundings.

2. LDAC is an Android codec. On an iPhone the Clip 1 falls back to AAC. Everything else works identically, but you won't get the high-resolution stream.

Three reasons people choose this one

• Glasses-friendly. The clip runs behind the ear rather than over it, so it doesn't fight with spectacle arms. Anyone who wears glasses and has given up on ear hooks will understand why that matters.
• Dolby Audio and Dynamic EQ. A 12mm dual-magnet driver with a PU and titanium-plated composite diaphragm, tuned by SoundPEATS' Dynamic EQ algorithm and certified for Dolby Audio — which builds a wide, cinematic soundstage that open-ear designs usually struggle to produce.
• LDAC at 990kbps. Certified Hi-Res Audio Wireless, supporting 96kHz / 24-bit. That's roughly 3.5 times the data of standard AAC at 256kbps — a 350% increase in what actually reaches your ear.

Battery

40 hours of total battery. 8 hours from a single charge, up to four more recharges from the case. A 10-minute top-up gives you 2 hours.

Is this the right pair for you?

Good for — glasses wearers · running and cycling where you need to hear traffic · long working days where in-ear tips get uncomfortable · anyone who wants open-ear without giving up high-resolution audio.

Not for you if — you want quiet on a plane or a train. Nothing open-ear will give you that. Our C30 or Air5 Pro will.

What it does

Stays put — a 0.6mm memory wire core holds its shape rather than loosening over time, and SoundPEATS tested the fit across more than 10,000 real-world usage scenarios. They won't fall out if you shake your head.

Connects to two devices — pair a phone and a laptop at once.

Knows when you take them off — wear detection pauses playback and resumes when you put the earbud back. Left and right channels sort themselves out automatically, so drop them in the case either way round.

Handles calls outdoors — a patented C-shaped dual-way windproof cavity reduces wind noise and improves voice pickup, so calls hold up on a windy street. A built-in 3-axis accelerometer detects a drop and sends a voice alert so you don't lose one.

Survives — IPX5 against sweat and rain.

Tunes through — a free companion app on iPhone and Android: EQ presets and a custom curve, control customisation and firmware updates. SoundPEATS publishes more than one companion app and not every model uses the same one — check the guide in the box, or message us and we'll confirm which app this pair uses.
