Qualcomm QCC3091 on the Snapdragon S3 Gen 3 platform. Dual certified — Hi-Res Audio Wireless and Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound. Supports LDAC at 24-bit / 96kHz and aptX Lossless. Most earbuds support one high-res codec. These do both.

Triple-driver acoustic architecture. One custom 12mm high-polymer diaphragm dynamic driver for low and mid-low frequencies, plus two balanced armature units for mid-highs and treble — the arrangement you normally find in wired in-ear monitors. Precisely tuned crossover points keep the handover between them clean.

55dB adaptive ANC across a 4000Hz range. SoundPEATS measures this as taking an 85dB environment — a train platform — down to under 30dB at the ear, eliminating up to 99.8% of ambient noise. Six microphones total, hybrid feedforward plus feedback. Four modes in the app: Indoor, Outdoor, Transport and Adaptive.

Battery — the honest breakdown

7 hours per charge, 37 hours with the case, 10 minutes for 2 hours of play. But that headline figure depends on which codec you're using, and most listings don't tell you. This is SoundPEATS' own lab data at 60% volume:

The trade-off worth knowing: the high-res codecs cost you battery. LDAC with ANC on gives about 3.5 hours, half what you get on AAC without ANC. That's not a fault — it's the price of the data rate. Use LDAC when you're sitting down with good recordings, drop to AAC for a long flight.

Voice-tuned transparency. Focuses on the 200–1000Hz speech range, so you hear the person talking to you without the full roar of the street. Two modes: Voice Enhance and Standard.

Seal check in the app. Runs a fit test and tells you whether to try a different ear tip. A poor seal ruins both the bass and the noise cancelling, and most people never realise theirs is wrong.

Dual-device connection. Pair a phone and a laptop at once. It's off by default and enabled in the app. It can't run at the same time as LDAC — you choose one or the other.

60ms gaming mode for audio that stays locked to the picture, and IPX5 water resistance with nano-coating against rain and sweat.

Built like a piece of jewellery. Crystal-textured IML decoration with a UV matte coating over bronze-tinted translucent faceplates, in a leather-textured case with a Hear the Difference nameplate.
